Overview

This project addressed both the immediate safety hazards and the long-term health of the Landmark Oak. Davey Tree Expert Co. began specialized health treatments in October 2025. Star Landscape completed the hazardous structural trimming on January 16 & 17, 2026.

Scope of Work

Hazard Trimming (Star)

  • Traffic Light Clearance: Removal of signal-contacting limbs.
  • Street Safety: Removal of primary limbs over Carlisle St.
  • Utility Clearance: Pruning near utilities along N. Hall St.

Health Treatments (Davey)

  • Disease Prevention: Seasonal Phosphonate treatments.
  • Pest Control: 2-year trunk injections for borer protection.
  • Soil Health: Liquid Humate application.
